I've been researching my family for about 5 years (I know, not very long by most standards). I was extremely fortunate to live for a while in the area I was researching, so was able to get alot of information and photographs very readily. Alas, I have moved and research is now proceeding slowly. My research has centered around the Essex/Union county areas of New Jersey and in Suffolk County, New York.
